The Shires Removal Group

I cannot recommend Shires highly enough. We went for full packing and disassembly service, storage, long distance move leeds-Scotland, unpack and reassemble, and we were gobsmacked how smooth and efficient the lads are. They are real workhorses bless them, and made everything so easy and organised for us, we didn’t have to lift a finger at either end (had plenty else to sort out myself). Everything was done with diligent efficiency, care and attention. I’m unpacking here in Scotland and not one glass or plate or bowl broken, and every box loaded into room of choice and they even disassembled furniture to get it into Awkward rooms which I was so grateful for. Professional, friendly, courteous (and a good laugh, after all these 3-4 lads have been on our lives the last 4 weeks and seen us move our lives long distance!) I would definitely recommend Shires for a stress free ‘take care of it all’ service. It has made life so much easier at this stressful time. Thankyou Tristan, Sam, Dave - and the others!!!! And to Lesley in the office for suffering my flappy emails and watering my plants!! ❤️ You’ve all done a cracking job!

Highly recommend Shire. Moved us over a month ago. Dave and Antony were our movers on the day in their huge moving lorry. Can’t praise them enough, nothing too much trouble and really nice guys. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Shire again if we move. Also, we found Shire to be very competitive on price, and we did research. Also, the office staff were lovey and very helpful. They have been in business a long time and that experience showed through the whole process. Thank you so much for making a very stressful time a lot easier. BIG THANK YOU

Just a thank you for the traffic today, having blocked the westbound traffic on Doncaster Road, backing traffic up all the way from Nostell to Wakefield. Very impressive! Any particular reason your driver didn't feel like using the driveway that was clearly available at the property? Thanks to you, hospital appointments were delayed. An absolutely prime bit of consideration for countless road users today. Edit: Delighted by your response and the knowledge that as long as it's legal it doesn't matter how many people miss hospital appointments because of you or how many emergency vehicles struggle to squeeze through, or how much of an inconvenience you cause countless other road users. Bravo once again. Speaks for itself, really. Mayhaps use the correct vehicle for the job? Bleh. I've made my point.

I would highly recommend Shires. I found the reception/admin staff super helpful and supportive. They advised me on the booking options and even though I had confirmation of my move date quite last minute they were patient and understanding of the situation. One the day I moved the removal men were friendly, cheerful and respectful of both properties. They did an excellent and swift job.
