Woodhouse Farm Holiday Park

Absolutely spotless clean showers and toilets. Perfect place for taking children camping, cute animals, good soft play! Really friendly staff. Well maintained grounds and pitches. Pub does great food. Would definitely return!!

We’ve just returned home after a weekend at this site, our fourth time of visiting and every time has been perfect. We luckily got the weather too. The purpose of my review is just simply to say thank you and in particular to your maintenance guy on site. When we arrived on Friday and on un-hitching our caravan our jockey wheel bolt snapped. We managed to battle through by having my wife and her friend go to the back end of the caravan and tip it up to take it off the car. Mildly hilarious but also very frustrating. Not wanting it to affect our weekend we slept in a very uneven caravan with the intention of dealing with it come Saturday morning. I spent an hour or so browsing online for somewhere local to get a new jockey wheel bolt to no avail. I settled I needed to head home and leave the caravan and wife to fend for themselves as I only needed to go to Teesside where a plethora of retailers would have had the part. However, your maintenance guy came along, asked if everything was OK whilst I was looking at the jockey wheel and in very much a caravanning community style said “I’ll have one of those, wait there”. Needless to say he had exactly what I needed at hand. Gave us the part required which in turn allowed me to fix it, level the caravan up and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Luckily the rest of the weekend went without a hitch (pun indeed intended). Food and drinks in the bar exceptional, site exceptional, weather….stunning and as ever the customer service second to none. I appreciate I’ve droned on a little but I just want to express my genuine gratitude. Running my own company I know people are generally very quick to complain but not so forthcoming to give credit where credits due. I for one really appreciate notes like this from my customers so I wanted to do the same. Once more, thank you and see you again soon! Darren.

Really nice area, pitches were good, large and well marked out. We were close to facilities and these were always clean. Only down side was close to pub and noise from pub even an hour after it shut wasn't great. Was very relaxing and the children enjoyed the play area,pump track and the sheep were lovely.

Beautiful site with excellent facilities. Lovely pub/restaurant, buy dont forget to book early for evening meals. The shower block is immaculate, even on a busy weekend.

Beautiful well kept site, the toilet block was immaculate, excellent play area if you have little ones, soft play, climbing wall etc, fishing lake and lovely woodland would definitely recommend this site.
