Id suggest retraining the lady on reception. (Sunday 2nd at 1pm) Was told my son was 'too big' for the small pool and its under 8s only. When challenged as we came 3 weeks ago and there was no issue, was told 'you can come in today but next time you will be refused'. Quite rude really. Website states 'under 8s must be accompanied by an adult, over 8s dont need accompanying' (so over 8s are allowed)

Staff at reception was friendly and helpful and the lady serving in the cafe was lovely. Had a nice time looking forward to going again my partner and I.

Good: little cafe, decent but small gym, everything quite new and clean. Bad: Do NOT go if you are a serious swimmer… only four lanes, no 5m marker for backstrokers, clock is barely visible, fast lane filled with people who… aren’t that fast, let’s say. No communal changing so you either have to lock all your stuff up while you shower (faff) or leave it unattended in a cubicle, only one hook and no shelf in the showers, and the water comes out scalding hot. It’s actually ridiculous how hot that water is. Then it’s about a fifteen minute walk from the showers to the nearest mirror, so if you like to moisturise and comb your hair after you get out, again you’ve got to lock up your stuff, leave it unattended, or wait until you’re on your way out. Finally the lockers are just not big enough. I have to put my bag in sideways 😂 It’s a shame as this is my local centre and it has loads of potential… just these little things make it a bad place to swim.

Good friendly well equipped gym. Adults only after 5.30pm can get very busy 4pm-6pm. Lots of classes available to join. Also have swimming pools, one for adults, one for children.
