WOW what a great place. Staff were amazing and made jokes. The food was amazing and very tasty. I loved all I tried. The bread was great, the rice was nicely prepared and all type of the cooked dishes were very very tasty. I did enjoy my evening there. I would visit back if I go to Leeds again.

Loved our visit to Tamatanga! The chaat bombs were an explosion of flavours, and the poppadums came with a really tasty mix of chutneys. The Punjabi butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the cheesy naans were amazing. We also had the Vanilla Velvets cocktails (2-for-1!). Our waitress was lovely and really friendly, even though she’s still learning. Such great atmosphere and food, definitely recommend!

This was my first visit, and I was impressed by how delicious everything was. As someone with a South Asian background, I can confirm the food is genuinely authentic in both flavor and spicing. We ordered two cheese naans with melted cheese filling, and they were excellent. While the portions initially appeared modest, they turned out to be quite satisfying. The service was attentive, and the staff were welcoming and pleasant. I'd definitely return for another meal.

Took a chance on this place for Lunch whilst shopping in Leeds. Arrived just before 12:00 and there were only 2 people in. We were asked if we minded a window seat which suited us as were both people watchers! We were looked after by Sarah T,she mentioned cocktails were 2 for 1 ,asked us what Spirits we liked and suggested the drinks to suit us-they were amazing. She was an absolute pleasure the duration of our stay,so pleasant,I overheard her offering advice to 2 novices curry eaters on the next table too! Sarah would be a massive asset to any business, she actually wanted to be there unlike most who just see it as a job. 10% was automatically added to the bill which I don’t normally agree with but as service was so good I bit my lip. Food portions appeared small BUT we couldn’t eat it all,the flavours were amazing. It was that good I asked the manager if I could give Sarah a cash tip on top of the tips that’s shared and unfortunately it’s company policy to share all tips. Will be returning with the rest of the family in the coming weeks.

Absolutely incredible food at Tamatanga, Leeds. We ordered the butter chicken and the railway cabin lamb curry - both were packed with flavour and the meat was unbelievably tender. The food came out so quickly yet was still piping hot. The salad served with the curries was super fresh, and the naans were perfect: soft, warm, and fluffy. Portion sizes were spot on. The mocktails were lovely too (the guava one was a winner), and the complimentary karak chai at the end was the perfect cardamom-filled finish. A special mention to Vinny, the manager - he was fantastic, incredibly hospitable, and really looked after us. Even the toilets were really nice and well-kept, which says a lot. Everything is halāl, which is a huge plus. Can’t wait for them to open in Manchester!
