We're looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to cover the Northern region (Birmingham through to Newcastle). This is a field-based role focused on service sales, developing long-term client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering consistent sales growth. What you'll be doing as Sales Manager/Business Development Manager: Managing and developing existing customer accounts while actively winning new service sales business. Meeting clients face-to-face to build strong, lasting relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Identifying opportunities for additional products and services and sharing market insights with the wider team. Preparing and following up quotations to maximise conversion rates. Negotiating commercial terms within agreed parameters. Representing the business at exhibitions, client meetings, and industry events. Providing accurate sales forecasts, reports, and feedback to senior leadership. What we're looking for in a Sales Manager/Business Development Manager: Proven experience in service sales and account management (ideally within HVAC, industrial/commercial refrigeration, or process cooling). A confident communicator who can present, negotiate, and build rapport at all levels. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
