<ul> <li><strong>Role/Job title:</strong><strong>SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant</strong></li><li><strong>Mode of working – Leeds- 2-3 days onsite</strong></li><li><strong>Type of Employment- Permanent</strong></li></ul> <p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Techno-Functional Consultant</strong> to join our team. You will support greenfield implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and steady-state environments on SAP with RISE. You will play a key role in configuring newly provisioned systems to support SAP standard retail functionality and enable downstream testing activities such as SIT, UAT, and performance testing prior to and after go-live.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, configure, and support SAP MDG solutions to ensure high-quality, consistent, and compliant master data.</li><li>Implement governance frameworks, workflows, data quality rules, and consolidation/centralisation processes for master data objects (e.g., Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance Objects).</li><li>Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate data governance needs into scalable MDG solutions.</li><li>Configure systems, model master data, enhance workflows, and support integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.</li><li>Lead testing, documentation, and go-live activities within S/4HANA or ECC environments.</li><li>Provide functional expertise during design, configuration, and gap analysis activities.</li><li>Complete assigned tasks in alignment with project timelines and deliverables.</li><li>Engage with business users and functional leads to gather requirements and provide regular progress updates.</li></ul> <p><strong>Your Profile</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential skills/knowledge/experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP MDG-BP, MDG-F, and MDG-AR.</li><li>Minimum three SAP MDG implementations, including inbound/outbound integration and custom data model/UI design.</li><li>Strong knowledge of baseline configurations, BC Sets, Data Modelling, SMT Mapping, UI Modelling, CBA, Process Modelling, Access Classes, DIF, DRF, Key/Value Mapping, and file upload/download processes.</li><li>Experience with workflows and BRF&#43; applications, including validation, derivation, and workflow template customisation.</li><li>Experience with Floorplan Manager (Web Dynpro ABAP), including adaptations, enhancements, deep copy, and UI customisation.</li><li>Strong understanding of MDG Data Model and UI Model extensions (AR/BP/0G).</li><li>Proficiency in DDIC.</li><li>Experience with IDOCs, SOA services, BAdIs, classes and methods, and ALE/IDOCs.</li><li>Strong experience in data replication, error handling, validations, and derivations.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in highly customised SAP environments with integrations to non-SAP systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of retail business processes.</li><li>Experience with retail master data objects such as Article, Store, Assortment, and Layout.</li><li>Expertise in FI master data, including GL, Profit Centre, and Cost Centre.</li><li>Experience supporting Article Management and Business Partner modules.</li><li>Experience with Run SAP / Solution Manager methodologies.</li><li>Experience working in large, diverse, and globally distributed teams.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).</li><li>Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivery.</li><li>Willingness to work in shifts when required.</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with estimation techniques.</li><li>Integration knowledge with Ariba or other legacy systems.</li><li>Ability to design and collaborate with technical teams for complex integrations.</li></ul>
