CNC Operator (furniture Manufacture)

As we grow, we’re focused on building robust systems without losing the hands-on, collaborative culture that makes the work enjoyable.</p> <p>Dovetailors is seeking a motivated <strong>CNC Operator</strong> to produce high-quality machined wooden components for our innovative furniture projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, values craftsmanship, and enjoys working as part of a supportive workshop team.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate CNC machines (SCM 5-axis and Axyz 3-axis).</li><li>Set up machines, load programs, and complete basic edits for accuracy.</li><li>Read and interpret CAD/CAM models and cutting lists.</li><li>Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet required standards.</li><li>Complete manufacturing orders within the MRP system.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.</li><li>Support waste-to-fuel processes (wood shredder and briquette machine).</li><li>Contribute to workshop organisation and continuous improvement.</li></ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Pride in producing high-quality work.</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop new skills.</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>CNC experience (woodworking or manufacturing).</li><li>Familiarity with SCM and/or Axyz CNC systems.</li><li>Ability to read CAD/CAM models.</li><li>Experience with MRP systems and/or continuous improvement methods.</li></ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be part of a supportive and passionate team.</li><li>Work on innovative and challenging furniture projects.</li></ul> <p>Opportunity to develop skills and grow with the company</p>
