Parking Up are choosing which car parks they want to partner with, and clearly greed is leading them to work with companies like Imagine Car Park at Liverpool Airport — absolute cowboys! They use a public car park with zero security to store customers’ cars. For weeks now, the only response I get from Parking Up is: “we are working on that with the owner of the car park.” Working on what exactly? I sent you screenshots of my car parked in this unsecured location, and even a video showing that anyone can access it freely with no barrier, no staff, no security. If you read the reviews on Imagine Car Park, you’ll see many people noticed extra miles on their odometers — 3 miles, which just happens to be the distance between Imagine’s site and JD Gyms car park, the unsecured lot they’re secretly using. There’s plenty of proof that this “storage” is unsafe, misleading, and unacceptable. One star for Parking Up as well — I would give zero if I could.
