am reading some of these posts about the post office staff and cant believe what am reading . I have been going in this shop a while now and never had any issue with either of the 2 ladys who work here. one is called mandy and the other the name escapes me but has blonde hair. there both lovely ladies and friendly. I was depositing some notes from my work and even the lady advised me on how to watch out for fake ones etc from customers when there paying me . which was helpful as ive had one in the past . i am also polite to them and treat them both with manners and respect and in fast paced job like theres , customer after customer . if someone spoke to me impolite . I may not be polite back. just saying. keep up the good work lady's 👏

I just had the most stressful, upsetting experience when trying to post some letters this afternoon. There was slight confusion between myself and the cashier, which could have been settled with a calm conversation. However, the woman behind the counter today was so quick to be rude and belligerent that I felt completely flustered. I ended up leaving the shop in such a state, I didn’t buy what I needed and burst into tears as soon as I got home. This is our local shop and post office and to feel this unwelcome is absolutely disgraceful!

Be careful using the post office in this shop. Especially if depositing cash into a bank account. Each time I’ve deposited they have undercounted my cash by £10 - £30. They got away with it once but I have been more vigilant ever since. Not sure if this is a mistake but it is very odd that has happened each time they’ve counted my money. The price of shipping on the same weight item for the same service fluctuates massively in short periods of time and I just can’t get my head around it. I no longer go to this shop anymore. Yes the older woman is rude but I feel there is also something a bit dodgy going on.

The woman behind the counter should not be in a customer facing role. Miserable, rude and unprofessional. I will go to a different post office in future.
