Anne Nails

The staff are so lovely but the nails are a mess. I got biab and the process to begin with was great. She really took her time. But then there was an issue with one of my thumbs where all the gel cured to one side. She did it again but it did the same thing and I now have a weirdly flat lump (I know that sounds like I’m contradicting myself but that’s what it is). I asked for round shape and I don’t know what I got but it’s not that. My nails aren’t the same length or shape and you can see my nail under the colour. There are also lots of bubbles and the nails feel very flimsy. Was quite sad after it started so great.

Nails are amazing!!! We come all the time, such good prices especially for how good their work is, Ha is AMAZING she always does my nails and never fails to do the most beautiful job!!!

I went in yesterday for an infill and asked for the exact same nail shape I already had. It wasn’t a new request. Unfortunately, the shape was done incorrectly, and even after I pointed it out, it was clear the nail tech didn’t really know how to file it properly. After trying a few times to explain, I gave up. There was also confusion around payment. I wasn’t informed upfront that payment was only by cash or bank transfer. When another customer asked, I confirmed I could do a transfer, which was fine. However, they immediately started insisting I pay before my service, even though the previous customer finished her nails before paying. I showed them my bank app to confirm I had the money and said I would pay after the service, which caused hesitation. After the service, I made the transfer, but the transaction showed as pending. This happens sometimes with bank apps. Despite this, they repeatedly insisted I call my parents or a friend to pay for me. I even made duplicate payments and showed proof, but they continued implying I didn’t want to pay. One of the staff then said this was why she wanted payment before the service, which felt unfair and embarrassing. Once the payment finally went through, the attitude suddenly changed and everyone was smiling again, as if nothing had happened. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional. Poor communication, unnecessary pressure around payment, and not listening to a simple request made this very uncomfortable. I won’t be returning.

The best nail shop I’ve been to in Leeds, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Amazing service and colour choices.
