Very happy with my purchase of a 2019 Audi A6 and the service given via Salim, he was super helpful over the phone and in person too when I made the long journey to view the car. This was my first time buying a car myself and he respected me being cautious and meticulous with any issues I had with bodywork etc (which he even photographed to get their team to fix before collection) he made the deal feel very special as it was and didn’t pressure me into anything like taking their finance options over my own. Now after months of having the car I’ve had no issues and no regrets! Small side note that the rest of the staff made me feel very welcome and confident with my decision even as I drove out one of the lads said the car suited me which meant a lot. Thanks again and might hopefully be back for more in the future!

Really great experience buying my Supra from Brooklands Motor Centre. Salim was genuinely friendly and easy to deal with, and made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward from start to finish. Communication was clear throughout and the car was exactly as described. I’m really happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend Salim and the team to anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free buying experience.

I purchased a car from Brooklands on 22 December. My experience throughout the purchase and the subsequent attempts to resolve a serious fault was appalling. This is a long review, but if it saves even one person from going through the same experience, it is worth reading. When reserving the car, the sales manager confirmed it had a full service history. On arrival, this could not be produced. I waited well over an hour before it was eventually obtained so the sale could proceed. I have since shared this service history with a garage, who questioned its authenticity and lack of detail. I was also assured I would receive a spare key shortly after purchase. Despite repeated chasing, it arrived 24 days later and did not work, requiring a battery replacement. The car was sold on the basis that it would receive a full valet and service. However, immediately after the test drive I found a Café Nero loyalty card in the driver’s door, dirt inside the door panel, and the next morning a bottle lid down the side of the driver’s seat. This raised serious doubts about the care taken prior to sale. Just over one hour after purchase, the brakes began making a loud screeching noise. I recorded video evidence and raised the issue at 9am the following morning, the earliest possible opportunity. Over the following weeks, four separate garages — including Brooklands’ own warranty-approved garage — independently confirmed that the brakes were seizing and that the discs and pads required replacement, with potential calliper involvement. Despite this consistent diagnosis, Brooklands and their warranty provider repeatedly refused to authorise repairs, disputed costs, and delayed decisions. I was asked to source garages myself, had quotes rejected as “too expensive” (including £237), and was even told to drive the car to Leeds for inspection despite a known brake fault — an unsafe and unreasonable request. Communication was slow, avoidant, and required constant chasing. At times, staff became confrontational rather than helpful. Eventually, Warranties 2000 proposed supplying low-quality third-party parts and initially refused to cover labour. When partial labour was reluctantly agreed, Halfords confirmed they could not fit third-party parts due to insurance and liability — something the warranty provider should have known. This caused further delays while my car sat dismantled. I was left without use of a £17,000 vehicle for an entire month, from 22 December to 22 January, causing significant stress and inconvenience and forcing me to rely on borrowed vehicles. Brooklands ultimately refused to accept responsibility, claiming the fault was normal wear and tear and rejecting my attempt to exercise my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, despite the fault arising almost immediately after purchase and being confirmed by multiple garages. At this stage, I felt I had no option but to accept low-quality parts and only a partial contribution to fitting costs — completely unacceptable for a fault that arose within one hour of purchase. From start to finish, Brooklands Motors demonstrated delay tactics, poor communication, and a complete unwillingness to take responsibility. Buying a car requires trust, particularly when issues arise immediately. Based on my experience, Brooklands Motors showed no accountability or customer care whatsoever, and I would strongly urge others to avoid this business.

I recently purchased a car from this company after travelling 5 hours based on the information advertised online. Unfortunately, the listing was misleading — the vehicle was advertised as having 1 previous owner, which turned out not to be accurate, and there was no service book provided with the car, which was not made clear beforehand. This was really disappointing given the distance travelled and the expectations set by the advert. When raising these concerns, the sellers were quite harsh and inflexible, and no compensation or goodwill gesture was offered for the travel or the misadvertisement, which felt unfair. That said, I do want to highlight that Khris was genuinely lovely and communicated well throughout — his customer service was the one positive part of the experience. Overall, better transparency and honesty in adverts is needed to avoid putting customers in this position, especially when people are travelling long distances.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Salim at Brooklands Motor Group I recently bought a Golf R from Brooklands Motor Group and the entire experience was first-class—all thanks to Salim. From the first interaction, Salim was friendly, professional, and completely transparent. There were no pushy sales tactics—just honest advice, great communication, and a genuine desire to help. He took the time to walk me through every detail of the car, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure I was 100% comfortable throughout the process. The customer service was exceptional. Salim kept me updated every step of the way, handled all the paperwork seamlessly, and made the handover smooth and exciting. The car was beautifully prepared and exceeded all my expectations. I’ve never been happier with a car purchase. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend Brooklands Motor Group I even traveled 4 hours to get there — Id recommend Salim every day of the week. Honest, knowledgeable, and a real pleasure to deal with. Thank you again!
