I went to pick up a parcel which I was told had arrived there, and had proof of delivery, but I was told that I was wrong and that it went somewhere else, despite my tracking information telling me nothing about this. When I went all the way to the delivery office, it wasn’t there and was once again sent back to Headingley, where it was, all along. The lady who served me twice didn’t even check for my parcel, and told me it was to too big to be delivered. However, when I eventually got it from the lovely man who actually attempted to help me, it was a small parcel, that could’ve fit through a letter box. Do not recommend getting your parcels sent here
Could you please update your opening hours on your website and on google maps? I came at 9am on Tuesday, but on the door it said 10am. Other than that, you run a good service!
It’s an excellent idea that this Post Office shares its space with a Library. Massive queue, partially because of the slowness of service and unfamiliarity with basic Royal Mail service options which meant anyone daring to ask a question causes more delay for the queue. Yes, ‘daring’ to ask a question. The guy behind the counter is becoming a legend for his brusqueness and a Champion of The Glare. So much so, I’m tempted to award an extra star! **update** Perhaps it was a particularly busy day with the volume of student traffic they receive, and I can be quite 'brusque' myself sometimes. (so I added an extra star ;-)
the staff are so rude, treat you like you’re an idiot - they have no manners nor patience for customers when trying to send/collect parcels. partially the male that works there.
I'm amazed by the sheer number of people who have been commenting on the same Irish person for a long time, noting their rudeness and lack of basic customer service skills and manners. This person continues to lower the standards of an otherwise excellent Post Office that I have been using for the last 15 years. Of course, I always hope to avoid this person, but, as the luck of the Irish would have it, our post office paths do sometimes cross, alas. In their retirement I shall trust!
