Burley Park Medical Centre

Burleigh Park is the best medical Centre I have ever attended. All of the doctors, nurse practitioners and receptionists are caring, thorough and actually listen. Having been dismissed by my previous GP surgery with vague symptoms, Sara the nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and symptoms and quickly referred me for a CT scan and when I told Catherine that I still hadn’t had my MRI she ordered it for me. These two women have probably saved my life. I have just had a large and rare pelvic sarcoma removed on 21st August. It was very fast growing, but caught before it had spread and my surgeon managed to get all of it out. So I am hopeful. I just want to let Sara and Catherine know how very grateful I am. Another six months from now things may have been very different. Thank you for the excellent care you gave me, it really has been life changing.

My doctor is a lovely angel, but the male receptionist definitely has an attitude problem. Whenever I call, he either tells me to see a pharmacist or to ring again tomorrow, and apparently, tomorrow is not his shift. This kind of lazy staff just tries to avoid doing his job and lets the patients suffer.

Fantastic gp surgery. Although I've not been many times, each time I have the doctors I have seen has been brilliant. Quick referral processes both time and timely follow up. Waiting times weren't too bad either in comparison to other places I have been. Reception/phone call team are great, didn't have to wait long at all on the phone for a same day appointment. Would definitely recommend to all especially students moving to Leeds looking for a gp, as it is the best one I have experienced here.

only giving 2 stars because the reception team is fantastic, they go above and beyond to help patients. Can't say the same for most doctors there. They'll be patronizing at best. I don't reccomend this medical centre at all.

Been going here for years and always helpfu and professional. It can be a bit hard to get an appt sometimes like most doctors nowadays but if u call or attend early you should be OK!
