These two boxes celebrate the success of Nicola Adams at London 2012 Olympics, who was born and lived in Leeds. She became the first woman ever to win an Olympic Women’s Boxing Gold Medal. Each UK Gold Medallist from 2012 has a ‘golden’ post box in the place of their birth.

A really nice golden post box commemorating the achievements of one of the greatest Olympians to come from Leeds. A nice piece of sporting history and a good place to visit when in the city.
