Service was great, pastries were amazing I got the 50/50 chocolate chip cookie which was delicious, the salt finish and use of quality chocolate made it a great combination. Coffee was great and the smaller mugs they use were very convenient. The apple crumble brioche was amazing as well if you are a fan of crumble, maybe served hot or with additional custard would have been great. Overall great place and location. Highly recommend
Very tasty and proper nice beige! The xmas pastry had a really good pastry to it and filling was full and flavourful. That salted caramelly pecan swirl pastry was the best though. Cookie and feta onion pastry also gets a shout out.
In Leeds for the first time and got a BAKE takeaway before work, and I’m so happy I did😍 Got the Pigs in Duvets pastry: 10/10, flaky pastry flavoured with cranberry, stuffing, and sage, hint of cheese and the main event was the sausage wrapped in bacon, sausage had a good crunch and was filled with juicy flavourful meat and together with everything else it was perfect YUM Also got the cinnamon bun focaccia and this was sensational, not too sweet, bouncy and airy focaccia bread, fabulous icing casing, one of my favourite sweet treats I’ve had in 2025 for sure😋 Still thinking about both bakes, desperately need to come back to Leeds for more!
Been looking forward for so long to visit here. Got there for opening at 9am. Wanted to try the vanilla slice but did not have any so asked for a chocolate twist, school cake, Americano, apple juice and 2 sausage rolls to take away. Sat down looked at what they have gave me which I asked what it was and it was a caramel swirl with nuts. There was nothing else I wanted so they refunded me. The coffee was very bitter! It was very hard to drink. School cake was dry which my son left 3/4 of it. Could see staff looking over at us and talking. I cleared our table and put the cup and plate on the counter to help and smiled at one of the staff when left and she scowled back. Wow. Really! Tried the sausage roll later, had a heavy taste of butter which coated my mouth made feel a big sick. The sausage meat was very nice though . Would I go again - no.
I love love love coming to BAKE! The food is lush, staff are nice and has a lovely atmosphere. Obsessed with the foccia and the dohut doughnuts sold here are divine.
