George Leeds Crown Point

Used to be a lovely store and very easy to shop in but some bright sparks in management who have probably never worked in actual retail have decided to make it an absolute nightmare to shop at now! Heavier household items are now upstairs and they have taken the tills away from upstairs so you now have to carry the items (4 35l boxes in my case today) downstairs and then join the long queue as the same bright sparks have decided to take away the numerous manned tills from downstairs and replace them with just 2 manned tills and (I think) 8 self serve tills of which today (2 Sundays before Christmas) 3 were NOT WORKING!! The poor hard working staff are now getting the aggravation and anger caused by the stupidity of others but it’s ok I suppose as they will never have to deal with their consequences of their stupid actions!!!

This is a great store. I have always loved to come here, as it covers home wear, children's and adults. Good quality items. I felt a bit disappointed when realised All the tills were replaced by self service checkouts. All of them. There isn't any other option. I will reconsider doing shopping here again in the future because it causes me some stress doing all of it, and then errors, and waiting for someone to sort it out, etc, while managing small kids. It's not great for solo parents or families shopping. It's not even quicker for both of parties. I feel sorry that George made this decision.

The lady serving us today was absolutely rude. As we had quiet a few things and with a child it wasn’t easy to use self check we went to the till and asked for help to get shopping checked the rudeness was radiclous, I swear manners cost nothing if you don’t like helping people why you in a customer service job! Be kind! when you have a child with you and shopping sometimes self check out isn’t the easiest option. if you want rude arrogant staff come to this asda otherwise i would recommend going elsewhere.

It's a good selection of women, men and children clothing at Asda price, also Home section with bedding etc. wheelchair Accessible from the car park and upstairs via lift.

It’s been done up recently which has hugely improved it. There is a decent kids section evenly split between boys and girls for once. A good decent George.
