AVOID Terrible service. Taking ages to come out with shoes, staff walking round aimlessly with shoe boxes in hand. Barely anyone trying on shoes, so cannot understand what the delay is. When we asked where the shoes were (after several minutes) we were told they would be on the other side of a shoe wall, where we were sat originally and asked to move. The pair that did eventually get brought out was in the incorrect colour, causing further delay. This is a really poor process and nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing or who they're supposed to be serving. There needs to be more customer ownership and a stronger customer focused level of service. As for the "team member" who answered me back when I rightly identified that nobody knows what they're doing, if I'm stood there nearly 10 minutes with no shoes in hand then clearly, nobody knows what they're doing. It's a simple request. 2 pairs of shoes, in 2 sizes, for 2 boys to try on.

Last week, I bought a pair of shoes from jd and asked the shop assistant to give me the receipt. They told me that the receipt was placed inside the shopping bag. However, when I got home, there was no paper receipt inside the bag. Instead, I received a digital receipt on my phone, and I also have the bank card transaction showing the payment. I paid £120 for the shoes. Today, I returned to the store to exchange them for a different model because I didn’t like the color. The shop assistant told me that they would only refund £80. I showed them both the digital receipt on my phone and the bank transaction, which clearly showed the amount paid. The digital receipt also matched the exact shoe model and price printed on the shoe box. Despite this, they told that only £80 could be refunded because I did not have a paper receipt. I am extremely disappointed with this experience, and I will never shop at this store again.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration with the JD White Rose store. I purchased a pair of shoes and, like many people, did not keep the physical receipt. However, I have the JD app, which clearly shows the date, time, and proof of my purchase—a digital record that should be more than sufficient. When I called to process a return, I was initially assured it would be "fine." I spent over 10 minutes on hold while the staff member allegedly "looked" for the transaction. They came back empty-handed. Here's the kicker: they never even asked me what brand the shoes were or how much I paid. This proves they didn't even attempt to search their system properly. The entire call was a complete waste of my time, built on a lazy lie. When I expressed my intention to write this review, the staff member's attitude was utterly dismissive. They couldn't have cared less. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a zero priority for this branch. Please, save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. Their system is inept, and their staff are untrained and indifferent. I will never spend another penny here. When I said I'd leave a bad review, they didn't care. Rude attitude. awful service. BOYCOTT THIS SHOP! Hit them where it hurts—their wallets. Maybe then they'll train their staff properly.

My companion experienced an incident at the store on the day I came in (20.12.2023), and the staff were extremely supportive of us. They called in the Mall's First Aid Team and Security and kindly brought in a screen to ensure privacy and dignity. I couldn't buy these shoes that I really wanted and by the time that I could return, they had sold out. I'll always remember their quick response and support. Thank you, JD Sports!

I would avoid this JD Sports. I was charged twice, even though I questioned the transaction as it was pending. I was assured I wouldn't be charged twice. The management seem clueless and they must be on some sort of scam, behind the tills, asking if the can scan and collect you 10% discounts. Very poor from a big company and very poor the management know what's going on.
