I went to The Gold Shop for an engagement ring for my partner. I'd contacted Maurice and told him exactly what I wanted and that I had a tight turnaround due to holidays and other commitments. Maurice and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. Not only did they find me the perfect ring for my partner (she said yes by the way 😂), they went and collected the ring personally from the setter to ensure I met my deadline. They were very knowledgeable and broke the valuation down for me so it was all easily understandable. These small touches made me feel like I was in safe hands throughout the process. On top of all of this, it's just a really friendly shop to visit. Everyone on the team is extremely friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have had a better experience when dealing with them.

Visited Luca to view a watch and my expectations were high and I wasn’t disappointed the watch was like brand new and the price was the best I have ever seen not to mention the service from all the family is absolutely amazing was even offered a drink numerous times while I viewed. Been going here all my life and have always felt welcomed and literally part of the family. So yeah highly recommend The Gold Shop to everyone.

We bought a gold chain for our son about a year ago. Recently, the clasp broke, so we took it back in July 2025, half-expecting a hassle. Instead, the team took one look at the chain and receipt and said, “No problem.” They replaced the clasp with a stronger, slightly heavier one—free of charge—and had it done in 15 minutes. Oh, and they made us coffee while we waited. We’ve bought two pieces from them now, and every time it’s been stress-free, honest, and friendly. No pressure, just great advice and even better service. Maurice, in particular, is a total gem—polite, professional, and genuinely kind. I already have my eye on a watch next… and yes, I’m that confident in them. Can’t recommend them enough.
