Tesco Express

We were rather thirsty after an event we had just been to, decided to pop in and got ourselves a Lucozade. Initially thought it was closed as the “automatic” doors did not open! We were let in eventually. We are not city folk, perhaps convenience stores in cities do this for safety? Meal deals and small drinks are right by the entrance so did not need to venture round the store looking. Not busy at all either, so it was a quick trip to the self checkout and we were on our way. Staff didn’t greet us or say goodbye, they looked like they’d had enough. Bit unwelcoming really. Bumped a start off the rating for this reason!

There’s a very rude lady here named sainsbou, when she serves the people that are white, she’s very smiley and cheery, anyone Asian she treats very badly. She does know it’s 2025, they are no longer your master. Have some manners it’s free by the way.

A lady named sainabou something (black lady) like that is very rude and condescending. You may not be from uk but you need to understand manners don’t cost a thing. Attitude is disgusting, thank you and please is just common courtesy something you should know if you’re working in customer service.

Nice little shop. Some good collection of stuff at reasonable prices. The layout of the place is pretty and easy to navigate and find whatever you want. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. There are also some Halal sausages and meat as well. If you have a Tesco card then you can use it to enjoy extra savings.

Quick place to pop and get a reasonably priced sandwich.
