Excellent service from the whole team - Tamara in the office & Adam, Ben, Ollie & Reece on the day. Arrived on time, loaded the van carefully with protector mats and straps then safely moved everything to the new house efficiently and with good humour - despite the weather. Huge thank-you and congratulations on delivering a very professional service - highly recommended ... 😀

Following a house move in 2002, 23 years later it was time to move again and was genuinely impressed by the quality of the team. Right from the initial consultation visit to the time they had finished unpacking and left our new home. Truly an excellent service, with lots of pre-care and attention to moving valuables (tv's, pictures and paintings) and some real though into bringing one-use covers for mattresses and additional boxes for bedding used the night before the big day (honestly what a good idea). They even put on door and banister protection and plastic roll so the carpet/floor is clean for the new owners! Really brilliant team that we had. Nothing was an issue when we needed items put in particular spots and also plumbing in the washing machine. Still impressive after so many years!

Very impressed with McCarthy's. We actually only went with them after our 'first choice' removals company weren't available on our moving date... but we're very happy that we did. The 30 boxes that they threw in were very helpful, and Simon and Ben did a great job on the day. Friendly and efficient, and with just one small dent after a house-full of furniture and stuff was pretty good going. Thanks for the careful work, gents! Would definitely recommend.

I’m really late reviewing here but we moved with McCarthy’s in April 2025 and they were brilliant. Nothing was too much for them and the lads that helped on the day were such lovely guys thank you so much for taking the stress out of our move but doing it with a smile and banter at the same time!! Adam, Ben, Dan and Jacob thank you!

From start to finish McCarthy's have been great. Professional, friendly, hugely helpful. Massive thanks to Gareth and Ben who worked their socks off packing and delivering our content. Their experience and care made it a stress free move. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone in the area
