Westside Retail Park

WARNING - MAX STAY/ PARKING FINE £100. We spent an afternoon here and spent hundreds of pounds in various shops, and also stayed for lunch. Then to my surprise we received a £100 parking fine because we were there for over 3 hours! What a vile way to thank your shoppers for spending their hard earned cash at your premises. For anyone planning to visit, please be aware of this ridiculous policy. And scour the facility to try and find any small sign notifying you of the maximum 3 hour stay - we never saw it and in my view that was probably the plan.

Got charged £100 for slightly overstaying 3 hour max parking limit. Completely unfair and a ridiculous fine given signage is so poor. What an excellent way to thank your customers for spending lots of time and money in your retail park 👏🏼

Nice shopping centre but too busy just before Christmas. Chaos leaving the car park. Traffic hardly moving, someone should do traffic duty there.

This is an ok place to visit. The traffic lights when you leave this place can be a pain due to local traffic. Apart from the coffee shop I'm not aware of any toilets.

Good range of shops which operate independently within the retail park . Most of the stores have public toilets including for disabled . You do not have to rely on fast food outlet for coffee either as there is a good cafe in ASDA living. Also a COSTA in the complex .These are not huge stores but can save a trip into town .Please note that Poundworld plus is permanently CLOSED.There is only a footpath area immediately in front of all the shops and it links them together. Pedestrians need to take great care in the car park as there are no footpaths . Gets very busy and despite having disabled parking outside most shops but bollards prevent rear unloading onto the pavement.it can still be difficult to find a spot especially on a weekend and the exit can be a nightmare bit of a wait in traffic
