A bigger store, but nothing is actually a pound anymore, and deals are never that good anymore. Also it always takes forever to pay in these stores.
Queues are ridiculous in this place 1 team member on till on a weekend is a joke
A sales assistant, an old lady called Heather, actively racially profiled me and my family when we went to the self checkout to pay. We're of South Asian origin. Immediately, she tried to redirect us towards the till even though we'd already begun scanning things on the self checkout, so my mother politely refused her and thanked Heather for "offering" her help. Heather then phones security on the headset and alerted them of us and started listing everything we'd scanned and how many items we'd bagged and stated how frustrated she is in front of us, as if we can't understand? I asked her directly if she was being racist, by assuming we don't speak English and talking bad about us in front of us. She immediately stops speaking to security and turns her headset off, and then proceeds to ignore us. She then went out of her way to help other customers and actively avoided eye contact with me. We visited on 28th September 2023, at around 6pm.
All social distancing followed, masks must be worn easy shopping experience 3D unicorn birthday balloon air filled £1.
Great for picking up odd bits around the home and to spruce up a room. Even got some vinyl tiles, which saved me an absolutely fortune, even with the additional adhesive spray we purchased elsewhere. Great location and so much to choose from. Probably the best £ shop in Leeds
