DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY!! **we have taken this with trading standards company are still refusing to take any liability and saying it's my fault as I accepted the parcel! It was wrapped how could I open it in a doorway infront of a courier! To check! It's come from there shop in this state as it was packaged well over the damage. They have literally scammed us! Packaged if damaged and refusing liability as we accepted it with no way to tell it was damaged u til open! ** Won't even offer me a part refund as goodwill gesture. Refusing to replace it or let me return it even tho I called within 15 mins of it being delivered Towbar arrived in this state and I've attached the email of them refusing to do anything about it because we accepted delivery!! It arrived packaged ... we had to open it before could see anything. It's so deeply scratched it needs rust treated and painted now. I am so upset as I needed this this weekend. I phoned first and the lady when I phoned appeared lovely and reassured me she would sort it and admitted on the tracking she could even see packaging was damaged. I had to email photos and she would sort it out. This email was the outcome! Now I'm hundred of pounds down and a scratched towbar they won'r replace or partial refund to get it painted. Disgusting service and I'm really upset.

Update 28 January - 3 stars: 4x4at contacted me and offered a refund under warranty for the costs occured after I re-painted my canopy. They offered an apology and asked me if everything was ok with the rest of the products. The refund was processed fast and for this reason I felt its fair to edit my review and improve it. ___ Original review 1 star: VERY POOR experience. Ordered parts online. Half of the order was delivered in time and the remaining arrived with missing parts. 4x4at was blaming DHL and DHL was blaming 4x4at for the missing parts. I chose to not receive it until the full order arrives again. This finally happened 4 months later. At all stages, communication was very poor and no updates were given. No apology provided at any stage too. My canopy paint started peeling off 2 months after fitting. I had to repaint it from scratch. I received no refund as they told me that they had to pre-approve the fix. My trust on this company is heavily compromised.

Reading through previous reviews, it would seem I am actually one of the lucky ones... I ordered a set of tail lights, L.E.D headlight bulbs and a set of L.E.D fog lamp bulbs totalling over £600. The bulbs arrived but the tail lights didn't. I was told the courier had lost the parcel but it would be replaced. Week or so went by with no updates. I decided to fit the bulbs in the meantime and discovered they were wrong. After becoming frustrated and asking for a refund, it took me over six weeks of daily phone calls and jumping through hoops to get my money back! They are quick enough to take it, but good luck getting it back if you have a problem! I have sacrificed one ⭐️ to post this honest review. If I could give minus, I would.

January 2024, STILL Chasing my refund for £465 it’s not up to us the customer to make sure you have unfitted the canopy, the liner wasn’t taken out by your incompetent staff!!!! We did inform you the pickup was being returned immediately to Toyota! Faulty Canopy, Very Incompetent Staff!! #STAYCLEAR We purchased a new Hilux Invincible x and decided to have a canopy fitted by this dreadful company! We have had nothing but trouble with the electrics on the central locking system on the canopy and on a closer look the vehicle had a lot of scratches and scuffs on the pickup back, we reported this to them immediately to be told that they would fit the next canopy for free! However this damage was to our new Hilux and were obviously not very happy! My husband had to take the pickup back and asked for the back to be removed, Laura advised this would be ok as we explained that the vehicle was been returned to Toyota due to electric issues that started from the day the canopy was fitted. The canopy was removed however the liner (I think that's what it's called) was left in pickup at the time of the return to Toyota apparently!! Laura has only issued a partial refund less £461.13p when the full order was £2,748.46!!!! Emails below to ask what the £461.13p outstanding refund is for? I don't think this is a difficult question? Dear Paul, Thank you for confirming the refund for the canopy & fitting charges, however we seem to be missing another £461.13p on the refund, can you please explain what this is for? I have had numerous conversations with Laura who would do so much better in her role if she actually listened to her customers and understood the consumer rights act. Can someone just read the emails that my husband James sent to your company regarding the faults when the canopy was fitted, everything that was fitted wasn’t fit for purpose and by law we are entitled to a full refund. If you haven’t refunded us for the canopy liner I suggest you do so as this order was faulty from the day of fitting. I will call to chase this refund on Tuesday, but would like you to confirm by email why you are withholding our outstanding money? I bought quite a lot of parts for my ford ranger from this company, at the time of purchase there was some brackets missing. This is quite a long time after my order I called Saturday and spoke to Reece and he was really helpful, explained exactly what I needed and get them sent out for me even tho it was a long time since ordering, my experience from the service and products I’ve received has been great and I would highly recommend. Thanks Reece you was really helpful and my truck now looks so much better.
