Co-op Food - Leeming Bar - Leeming Lane

I have no complaints about the shop itself - it's always well stocked and has all you'd need for a local Co-op. The store manager (Sarah) is always helpful and friendly. My 2 stars is driven entirely by a shop assistant called Charlotte who seems intent on delivering the worst experience for shoppers possible. She doesn't talk, she glares and stamps past people without saying a word. Literally pushes her way past people browsing the store. Also, I'm not one to comment on people's appearance but she has incredibly greasy hair and clearly needs a shower. Quite off putting when shopping for your breakfast or lunch! Not sure what her problem is but is the only negative thing about this store - unfortunately it has a large impact on shopper experience

Always a pleasure to drop in to this branch of co-op with friendly, helpful staff who provide a welcome community atmosphere. Bargains and markdown items a welcome surprise re still quality intact and not spoiled as offered at other sites. You can purchase with dignity and true bargain. Do wish the Co-op brand mayonnaise is returned to shelves as I recommended that product to many. The high quality of the balanced natural ingredients made for resturant quality product taste. Shame you didnt think to promote this product before keeping the Big name brands. The Leeming site shop ethos is a model for some other sites to learn from. Long may it continue.

I have lived in this village for many years, after loosing the corner shop that was taken over by our local pizzeria. I am now so so so happy Co-op have given us a very well stocked and staffed village shop. We have an ever expanding community and this amazing commodity has lifted all our spirits... especially for non drivers and people with dietary requirements like me :) Thank You Leeming Bar Co-op Team x
