Orchard Caravan & Camping Park

Just spent a few days at this superb campsite. Situated in Reeth, a beautiful village. The site has clean facilities. Showers are superb and only 20p. Hairdryers are free to use. Ian is a most welcoming owner who is a mine of information. The best campsite in Swaledale for access to all the walks. Highly recommend this value for money beautiful site.

We stayed 2 nights at this excellent campsite. It is very well run. Quiet and peaceful by the river, yet within easy walk of great pubs and restaurants. Excellent facilities and owners are really lovely

Decent place to camp near Reeth (which is a 5-10 mins uphill walk away), and very good value. 20p per 3 minute showers are always a bit of a pain, but at least in this case the coin box is conveniently placed inside the cubicle and you get a countdown. Charging plugs for campers was super handy for us backpackers, as well as plenty of tables and chairs.

Couldn't rate higher! We camped here last minute when doing The Herriot Way after there was an issue getting to our booked campsite and I'm really glad we ended up staying here! Walk-in camping was a breeze This place has: - a beautiful setting with gorgeous apple trees and flowers next to a lovely river. Ian and Sharon clearly put in a great deal of effort to make this place the lovely spot it is - really attentive, helpful, and kind staff. Ian gave us a voucher for a discount at a local pub, advice, and a warm reception. There is also a range of helpful info on a board about local services like buses and food - mini kitchen area for campers to use - warm lovely showers - they're 20p for 3 minutes but camping here is so cheap, we didn't mind the shower cost at all! Ian is happy to give you change for the shower too if needed! - free hairdryer - seats to relax on - easy payment system - qr code, cash, honesty box - great amenities, charge your phone near your tent! - ideal location next to various walks and only 5 mins walk from 2 lovely pubs, cafe, gallery and shops - a cute hand drawn logo haha Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back if we're in the area again!

What a beautifull campsite. Perfectly run, such amazing location- Reeth is a wonderful village with Orchard campsite being less than a 5 minute walk to pubs, cafes and convience shops. We will definitely be back!
