We stayed in one of the cottages, the place was over ran by spiders and cobwebs. If this place is a busy as what it says it should be getting deep cleaned Atleast twice a week on every change over and not a basic clean, i understand spiders return and cobwebs however the lamps, shades, wood work in the bedrooms has dead spiders inside which would mean none of those places had been touched or dusted for a long period of time.. 6 of us had about 4 hours sleep between us because every room was swarmed with spiders. A cup of tea was made, the mug was checked for a spider the kettle was changed and some how we still ended up with a spider in our mouth!! This could only mean it came from the kettle..

Stayed one night here. Clean shower/toilets. Need updating but this is planned. Little kitchen for washing up and washing machine available. Location fab, across the road from Sainsbury's and Aldi and bus stop to local attractions. Lovely views, quiet site despite being off main road, but is set back so it was fine. Would return. Good value at £20 a night with EHU.

We stayed with our motorhome in July, what a lovely site, £20 Inc electric, toilets, showers, washing up room. A fab play area and great views. We cycled on the cinder track which is such a bonus, and supermarkets are so close. Although the site was quite busy it was very quiet at night. We would love to go there again.

The owners of this lovely place were so nice. They went above and beyond even before I arrived. We walked into doves haven and it was bright, large living and kitchen area. Upstairs was small but exactly what you needed, four clean and comfortable beds. There were a few spiders (well more than 20 of the creatures) with a fair amount of cobwebs so it might have been worth a whizz around with a vacuum cleaner as my kids don’t like spiders so it was left to me to sort! I won’t lie I didn’t like the look of the two rather large dead ones in the fire exit sign that nearly made me run! For the price it was excellent, everything we needed. Fab base for walking into Whitby down the cinder track and great for the supermarket. Would come back

Very nice area the property was nice but there were cobwebs on the lights downstairs and the TV table and TV needed a good clean which I did all myself, I would definitely stay there again and the peacocks at the sanctuary nextdoor was a bonus.
