Taste Bistro & Steakhouse

My friend recommended this lovely restaurant. We went together on a Saturday night and I wasn't disappointed. I had moussaka, she had bouef bourguignon. Both were hot, fresh and delicious. At my request the chef exchanged chips for a lovely side salad with my moussaka. We shared the bramley apple pie for dessert. Drinks reasonably priced. A small restaurant with a lovely, friendly atmosphere and an extensive menu. The host has a fab sense of humour and makes everyone feel welcome! A little gem in Maltby. Absolutely recommended. Just remember to take cash.

Absolutely love coming here. Garlic mushrooms starter was lovely and my rump steak was cooked to perfection 👌. The mixed grill was excellent and the desserts were delicious. Thank you guys

We managed to get in via a post on Facebook saying a table was available this evening. We arrived to a small establishment located round other shops with plenty of parking around. Upon entering the decor is just perfect for this location and definitely in the style of a bistro. The menu is varied but not to large that you didn’t know what to choose. As it was a Sunday I choose the Sunday roast and my partner picked the steak pie. We wasn’t disappointed and the meats just melted in your mouth. As the portions where quite large I missed out on the puddings. While we sat we noticed a very nice steak go by. I definitely will be back to try this. Just a reminder this establishment is a small business and prefer to have the bill settled in cash so do take some with you.

Wonderful place... Very nice food. I had Sicilian chicken with chips and herbs and the onion rings must be the best I've ever had. Fantastico, Fantastico, Grazie, Grazie Grazie...!! The Ice-cream had rolos in it. XX

Went for Sunday lunch, but I chose from an extensive menu my partner had scampy. I had Scilian chicken, both were delicious and nicely presented at a very reasonable cost. Nice environment and friendly helpful staff. Can definitely recommend
