Radisson Hotel York

Highly recommended. Staff did their best to make sure you had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and really lovely. Thank you Richard for sorting out our parking and for our lovely room for our joint birthday. I recommended getting parking early,but NCP is about 5 min away if the hotel parking area is full. Facilities were excellent. Location is brilliant. Shops and restaurants close by. Had a fantastic time.Thank you all.

Great location, phoned ahead to ask about parking and they advised to try as some cars had left before we arrived as guests had checked out, luckily we got a space.. all staff are really welcoming and the place is spotless and smells lovely! Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in the UK. We stayed in room 701 & the view was amazing I’m so glad we booked this hotel! Bed was firm and comfortable, bathroom was small but neat and functional! And as all in York, it was a short walk to everything in the other side of the river!

One of the best hotels I think we've ever stayed in for customer service! Rooms were great and clean. Check in seamless, cases stored in backroom on a ticket system so no-one can take your case without the corresponding ticket. Restaurant- all menus very very good. The chef made me a chocolate fondant birthday cake without being asked 🤎 I broke my foot & ankle while in York for my birthday. All the staff at the Radisson went above and beyond their roles to ensure I had all the help and comfort I needed to turn a nightmare birthday into as much of a pleasurable one as possible. We cannot thank you all enough and we will return Christmas 26 and I shall watch where I'm walking 🤦🏼‍♀️ Wishing you all the best for 2026 🫶🏼🥂🫶🏼

Managed to park in car park close to Hotel £20 per night. The room we felt was a bit expensive as didn’t have breakfast. Check in was very good and efficient and was upgraded to a room on the 6th floor with a fabulous view of the river and York Minster. And included a fridge and complimentary bottles of water which was a good thing.The room was spacious, clean and warm with bath robes if required. The bed was huge. We stayed 2 nights and found the location to York perfect and York was wonderful, York minster fantastic, The Shambles, and the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend the Hotel for its location. We went on 9th January and Xmas tree still up in Hotel!!!! Thankyou

Superior room where we stayed for my partners birthday totally substandard. Complimentary parking ? We were charged extra for this on checkout . Location walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great . Asked to review hotel and we brought the faults we found in the room to the hotels attention but were not listened to . In hindsight would have saved our money and stayed elsewhere .
