Drywall profile APTBU made of aluminium for light cove, wall-mounted The aluminium profile APTBU enables indirect lighting via the wall. It is suitable for plasterboard with a thickness of 12.5 mm and LED strips up to 12 mm wide and max. 30 W per metre. The LED strip is no longer visible from the room once installation is complete. The lower Kante of the profile is filled over a large area with the plasterboard and fabric insert. The space between the plasterboard and the Deck should be a maximum of 8 cm. The Kante of the profile can be painted with the colour of the surrounding wall/ceiling/panelling. The effective free beam angle of the light is 120°; the greater the distance to the wall (recommendation: 6 to 15 cm), the higher the illuminated section of wall.
