Makita DGA469Z 18V LXT 115mm Angle Grinder (Bare Unit)

The Makita DGA469Z is a 115mm (4-1/2") cordless angle grinder powered by 18V LXT Li-Ion battery, and equipped with X-LOCK mechanism that allows for quick and easy wheel changes. The X-LOCK mechanism allows the user to install/remove X-LOCK wheels with just a single action without tool. The X-LOCK wheel can be easily removed simply by pulling up the lever. Other features of the DGA469Z's design include a new tool-less wheel cover for fast and easy adjustment / installation and removal, an electric brake, removable dust covers and an ergonomic soft grip for comfortable operation. The design also includes a brushless motor, variable speed control dial and safety paddle switch. There are also several safety features including soft start, anti-restart function and Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. The DGA469Z is also equipped with Battery protection circuit, designed to protect the battery from damages due to overdischarge, high temperature or overload current. Finally, Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation.
