Manuscript Ornamental Nibs are produced by Manuscript Pen Company Ltd, a family-owned business established in 1990 and based in Highley, Shropshire. Through their long-standing association with D. Leonardt & Co, their nib-making heritage dates back to 1856, reflecting a deep connection to traditional British steel pen manufacture. Designed for decorative calligraphy and lettering, these ornamental dip nibs are well-suited to creating expressive, detailed marks. Manuscript specialise in calligraphy tools and work closely with the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society, continuing the historic West Midlands tradition of nib making with roots in Birmingham.
