The nose shows aromas of red and black fruits, such as raspberries, plums, and blackberries, then notes of fresh spices, along with dried fruit and a slight touch of mocha from the aging in French barrels. It is an elegant wine, with good minerality and a silky sensation on the palate, that's quite unique. It has a strong structure, with soft and tense tannins, along with balanced acidity and an unforgettable long finish. Try it with game casseroles or slow roast lamb.
