Château de Francs 2018, Côtes de Francs, Bordeaux

Côtes de Francs is somewhat of an under-the-radar appellation. Located just 20km from Saint-Émilion to the east of the Gironde, there’s great value to be found here. A blend of 80% Merlot and equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this wine boasts plenty of ripe, dark berry fruits with a hint of vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. Its structure and supple tannins complement pork and duck dishes perfectly.
