XGT batteries are encased in heavy duty housings with impact absorbing padding, and can be fully recharged in rapid time (as little as 28 minutes). Two way digital communication between tool and battery ensures optimum performance and reliability at all times, while allowing for future updates to be implemented into the range if necessary. The GA005G is a 125mm (5") angle grinder with a top mounted slide switch. Ideal for heavy duty cordless cutting and grinding applications, it has a soft start brushless motor and safety features including a rapid electric brake, anti-restart protection and an AFT system which immediately shuts down the tool if it detects a sudden drop in rotation speed.
