The Unesco site of Barumini and the Giara of Gesturi

A proper immersion in the Sardinian countryside and its richness, combining the chance to discover one of the most fascinating and mysterious prehistoric civilizations and the opportunity to discover fascinating nature and one of the most interesting wild horse communities in Europe. During the tour you will visit the only Unesco site on the island, walk through its towers, accompanied by a tour guide who will tell you about this still largely unknown civilization. You will also walk inside the Museum of Casa Zapata and see part of their tools and discover a bit more about their religion and their habits. Then, you will have the chance to walk on the plateau of the Giara of Gesturi and try to spot the famous wild horses, while taking amazing pictures of the Mediterranean Scrub! During the tour you will have free time to have lunch in town. The tour is not suitable for people with physical disabilities or wheelchair users.
