70cl / 62.1% / Whisky Sponge - A 2005 Ledaig single malt from indie bottle Whisky Sponge that was matured in a pair of second-fill sherry butts for 17 years, before being bottled in 2022. Fruity and smoky, these casks had a very low yield, resulting in a bold, concentrated character with notes of rich peat smoke, sea salt, dried fruit, plums, nuts and oak that linger in the finish.
