EVERBUILD® General Purpose Silicone is a high-quality, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant designed for sealing and bonding applications around the home and on site. Packaging: 280ml cartridges; also available in 80ml Easi Squeeze tubes.. Colours: White, Clear, Black, Brown, Grey.. Cure Time: Approx. 2mm per 24 hours at 20°C/65% RH.. Movement Capability: ±12.5% (EN 15651-1).. Service Temperature Range: -30°C to +150°C.. Shore A Hardness: ~20 (ISO 868).. Shelf Life: 24 months in unopened cartridges stored between +5°C and +25°C.. Application Instructions. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.. Cut the cartridge nozzle at an angle and apply using a standard sealant gun.. Smooth the sealant with a wetted tool or spatula within 5 minutes of application.. Allow to fully cure before exposing to water or painting (note: not overpaintable).. Limitations. Not suitable for use with natural stone, or on surfaces that bleed oils, solvents, or plasticisers.. Do not use in aquarium manufacture or in conjunction with edge sealants of double-glazing units.. Not suitable for overpainting.. Not suitable for use on bitumen or asphalt-based products.. Cleaning of Tools. Clean tools with white spirit immediately after use. Once cured, silicone can only be removed mechanically.
