The winery's first vintage was produced in 1999, and since then, it has become one of New Zealand's leading producers of Pinot Noir and other cool-climate wines. Today the winery is owned and operated by the Skeggs family, who are committed to producing wines of exceptional quality and character. The winery boasts a state-of-the-art facility which combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern technology to create wines that are both elegant and expressive. This is their classic Pinot which is bursting with intense aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries and cherries as well as hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate you can expect a full-bodied, richer style of Pinot with complex flavors of ripe fruits, dark chocolate, and earthy undertones.As the wine opens up in the glass there are additional notes of tobacco and leather, adding depth and complexity to the overall flavor profile.
