Château de Laborde is steeped in history. It’s gone from a simple 12th-century stronghold to a stunning castle known as ‘the Versailles of Burgundy’. And today, thanks to Hervé Kerlann and his wife Mandy, it's a prestigious winery with vineyards in some of Burgundy's best spots. This elegant bottling hails from the northern part of Gevrey-Chambertin, an appellation that’s home to some of the world’s finest Pinot Noir. You’ll find it vibrant and structured with a complex, savoury character from 18 months of oak ageing. Its fine tannins and notes of ripe strawberry, cherry and spice will pair beautifully with classic French dishes like coq au vin or boeuf bourguignon.
