Push Fit Cast Iron Eared Soil Slip Socket - 100mm

This push fit cast iron eared slip socket is used to join two pipes together whilst adding support to an installation. It can also be used to connect a pipe to a fitting where additional support is required.Slip sockets differ from normal sockets in that they have no central stop, allowing them to be pushed over a pipe or fitting and then slid back into position to make the joint. Slip sockets are ideal for use on installations where space is tight.Each vertically installed pipe in any soil stack should always include an eared socket to give support and stability to the system. Plain sockets are usually installed on branch arms to preserve the authentic appearance of the system.All of our push fit cast iron soil fittings are treated to a factory black two-pack gloss paint finish. The whole range is manufactured in grey cast iron to BS EN 1561.This soil pipe range is particularly well-suited to installations in public buildings, listed buildings and conservation projects.
