The Black Bay 54 is the most faithful tribute to TUDOR's first dive watch, the reference 7922. The 37mm case is the same size as the original, and it retains the classic proportions of the 1950s. The watch is powered by TUDOR's in-house MT5400 movement, and it has a water resistance of 200 meters. The unidirectional bezel is also true to the original, with no graduated hash marks.
