A fantastic value Chardonnay from the producer of one of our best-selling wines, The Chocolate Block. This Chardonnay comes from their coastal vineyards, and the sea influences help concentrate the intensity of the fresh, zesty characteristics of Chardonnay. This wine is aged in 20% new French oak barrels, as well as concrete and older wood, giving the wine subtle toasty notes and a rounded texture. Discover aromas of lime, apple, and honeydew melon with a touch of chalk. You’ll find notes of quince, green apple, lemon, and grapefruit on the palate. These crisp characteristics, combined with a creamy complexity, make this an extremely versatile wine that’s a particularly good match for richer fish, light meat dishes, and mushroom risotto.
