Product Description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 5 years. No need to decant. Domaine Ott was founded between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when Marcel Ott, an Alsatian engineer, decided to purchase several estates in the beautiful Provence region, a short distance from the Mediterranean coast. After restructuring and replanting the vineyards (post-phylloxera), the company focused its production on high-quality Provençal wines, quickly achieving worldwide fame. Since 2004, the company has been part of the Roederer Collection Group, maintaining the same passion for quality viticulture while respecting the environment and the region's ancient winemaking traditions. Clos Mireille Cotes de Provence Rosé is an elegant blend of Grenache, Cindault, and Rolle. Domaine Ott owns approximately 56 hectares of vineyards here in the La Londe area, where the vines benefit from relatively shallow soils composed of schist and quartz, and a mild climate, refreshed by sea breezes from the Mediterranean. In the glass, the wine reveals a pale pink color with golden highlights. Its aromatic profile is fragrant and fresh with notes of stone fruit, pear, citrus, and melon, followed by floral hints of jasmine and violet. On the palate, it is lively and juicy, refreshing and ample with crisp acidity and a pronounced minerality. The finish is long and citrusy. It is the ideal wine for a cool summer evening; excellent both as an elegant aperitif and as a companion to light Mediterranean dishes and seafood.
