Alocasia 'Silver Dragon'

A predominantely silver version of Alocasia 'Dragon Scale', with similarly contrasting, dark green veining. Cultivar of Alocasia baginda which is native to Borneo.. Leaves are waxy, thick, textured and more matte than shiny.. Space saver because of its compact growth habit.. Leaf undersides are a pale, almost white green with red veining like that of a Dragon Scale.. Growth pattern: Tuberous & compact. Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged.. Ideal Position: North or east facing. Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.. Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
