Dave Phinney went to Florence, Italy, for a semester abroad and fell in love with wine. After he graduated, he moved to Napa Valley, sent his CV to 50 wineries, and just one replied - Robert Mondavi. After a year there, he went it alone at with Orin Swift. Today begins with 100 different wines before selecting the perfect blend for the Abstract. This is a ripe and intense, with notes of black fruit, raspberry and liquorice. Decant for an hour before serving at 16-18 degrees.
