Protip: For best performance, season your screen before the first use by brushing with oil and baking alone at 180øC for 30 minutes. Use & Care Of Stainless Steel Although stainless steel is highly resistant to stain and corrosion, it is susceptible to Corrosion from food acids if not properly maintained and cared for. To ensure long Life and luster, the following procedure must be followed: Remove all food remnants immediately after use. Pre-soak in a plastic or stainless steel pan, using a non-abrasive Pre-soak compound. (Never use an aluminium pan). Wash in hot water with a non-abrasive, non-corrosive cleaning agent. Rinse in water of at least 180ø. A wetting agent or water softener may be required if using water with high mineral content. Dry & Wipe immediately. WARNING: Low Temperature Dishwashing If you are using a low temperature or chlorine bath type dishwashing system, take great care in following the manufacturer's instruction. An over-concentration of Sodium hypochlorite (bleach) , the active sanitizing agent of these systems, will attack most metal tableware.
