Bimber Oloroso Cask English Whisky (Batch #4), 70cl

This is a small batch single malt whisky from Bimber distillery. It has been finished in Spanish Oloroso Sherry Butts. Bottled on the 22nd March 2021.. This is one of only 975 bottles produced in Batch #4.. Bimber Distillery is a craft micro-distillery based in north London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. Their first casks of whisky were laid down on 26th May 2016 and the inaugural release of their single malt whisky (The First) was bottled three years later in September of 2019. The distillery usually bottles its whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
