As with other TUDOR Black Bay models, the new Black Bay Chrono S&G (silver and gold) features a dial strongly inspired by heritage. Although the design is predominately based on the dials from the 1950s TUDOR divers’ watches, the Black Bay Chrono S&G incorporates the 1969 Black Bay characteristic ‘Snowflake’ hands. Hollowed champagne coloured sub dials create a striking contrast against the matt black dial, ideal for optimum readability. Following the traditional chronograph design, the date aperture on the Black Bay Chrono is positioned at 6 o’clock and the slim 41mm steel casing is equipped with two yellow gold pushers, inspired by the very first generation of TUDOR chronographs. A fixed yellow gold bezel with a black anodised aluminium insert and tachymetric scale, complete the chic, sporty elements of this beautiful hybrid.
