Arbomeric MP20 is a high-performance, one-part modified polymer sealant that cures on exposure to moisture vapour, forming a tough yet elastic rubber. It’s ideal for structural joints in high-traffic areas, including prisons, secure units, and commercial floors, where durability and anti-vandal properties are essential. The sealant is compliant with BS EN ISO 11600 – F – 20 HM and suitable for use in a wide range of demanding construction environments.. Key Features & Benefits. Ensure joint surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination.. Degrease with ARBO® Cleaner (No.17 or No.16 depending on substrate sensitivity).. Prime porous surfaces with ARBO Primer 2650 as recommended.. Insert appropriate closed-cell polyethylene foam backing rod where required.. Apply sealant evenly using an ARBO caulking gun, ensuring full joint coverage.. Finish and tool off as needed before skinning begins (within 20–30 minutes).. Typical Uses. Structural joints in heavy cladding and commercial flooring. Movement joints in prisons, secure units, or high-abuse areas. Floor joints in high-traffic internal spaces. Note: Not suitable for lightweight cladding or swimming pools. Always test paint compatibility prior to overcoating.
