75cl / 59.1% / Distillery Bottling - Barrell previously released a Jamaican rum matured in ex-Islay whisky casks, the aptly named, Tale of Two Islands Rum. This release uses these ex-rum casks to mature bourbon from Indiana and Maryland, offering yet more powerful fruit alongside gentle wisps of herbal smoke. You can expect aromas of smoked sage, overripe bananas and grilled peaches on the nose, complemented by notes of tar, plum sauce and lemon oils. This is a rare release that defies expectations
